CLEARER FUTURE CONFERENCE 2012
June 2012
Over 80 people gathered at this years highly successful Clearer Future Conference, hosted in Doncaster.
The event was opened by Doncaster's Mayor, who provided an unconventional perspective on air quality management. Broadcaster and meteorologist Clare Nasir introduced the issue of air quality in 2012, and was followed by ClientEarth's Karla Hill who presented a keynote speech on their landmark case against the UK government's failure to meet standards.
A variety of presentations also covered public health, action-planning, and community action, as well as possible technology solutions.
The event was closed with a final Q and A session chaired by Jack Pease, ending a day that brought together environmental consultants, health officers and transport planners from the public and private sector.
Care4Air would like to thank the speakers, delegates, exhibitors and sponsors for their attendance at this years conference.
