A Clearer Future Conference 2009
The fifth annual A Clearer Future Conference, hosted by Care4Air will take place on Thursday 17th September 2009 at the Royal Victoria Holiday Inn, Sheffield.
The Care4Air campaign plays a key role in demonstrating how South Yorkshire is committed to improving air quality. The annual conference remains dedicated to facilitating the spread of best practice and to support the improvement of local authorities' performance in this area. This year's conference will address key issues in improving air quality and will focus on the adoption of Low Emission Strategies (LES) within local authorities. LES aim to accelerate the uptake of low emission fuels and technologies in and around the development site, by putting together a package of measures that utilise technologies to help this. This event will look to bring together planners and environmental officers to encourage networking, cross communication and highlight best practice.
